for hawaii in 2.5 days!!!!

as adrian says "i'm losing it"...

it has been a rough few weeks for me.

just so so so tired
(3 ear infections, 2 viruses, bunch of teeth & molars coming in 
& a husband out of town this past week did not help)

and so so so in need of a break.

so....

we canNOT wait to go to HAWAII!

although, packing is NOT my favorite thing.

(and, i still don't want to think about that plane ride)

a little boy and his big cardboard box

This box came today...

and this little boy was pretty excited to see it

when he woke up from his nap.

(i was pretty excited about what was inside it,

he was just excited about the box)

Lauren comes over to play with Beck

every Thursday afternoon.

So, when she came over today,

they had some fun with that cardboard box.

Beck was so excited to show

"beck's youse" 

to his dada when he came home tonight.

We could hardly get him out of

his cardboard box

to go to bed.

(we had to give him his medicine through one of the windows)

catching up: December - Christmas Day!

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day in 2011

with just our family of 5

(still can't believe we are a family of 5!).

I thought that this would be relaxing and a nice change...

while it was fun,

it was far from relaxing!

We took all the boys to church for the first time

which was quite a feat.

we did manage to all get in a nap at the same time

(mom & dad included)

which was a fabulous christmas present for us all!

but, adrian and i didn't eat a meal until about 8:30 PM 

and didn't open a gift until about that time too.

it was so fun to have these 3 little boys with us on christmas,

but they sure are a lot of work :-)

(a bit blurry, but...)

(best part is that there was almost nothing new in the toy room...

it's all his old toys and old furniture we had stored in our basement

he just loves that he has his own play room.

that quilt was made by our  good friend molly when beck was born

and it totally makes the room!)

we did stock his kitchen 

(which was an early present from his grandparents)

with some food.

and, a gourmet Christmas dinner of

microwave mac 'n cheese!

but, hey, he's happy!

though, not quite as i had imagined...

we are so grateful for our 3 boys

& that we were able to spend

Christmas with just our 

not so little anymore

family!

and, how was your day?

Ear infections, viruses, shots, tantrums, molars...

good times around here!

i did get to enjoy this moment today with my snuggly boy...

until a baby woke up

and, then the jealousy lead to the picture above.

these sweet boys have been seriously trying me lately.

hopefully tonight and tomorrow will be better.

hawaii can't come fast enough.

catching up: December - Christmas Eve at our house

the stockings were hung by the chimney with care...

 we had take out BBQ for dinner - it was perfect

beck colored a picture for Santa

and left some cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer

lots of presents under the tree

and... after Beck was all snuggled in bed...

Santa came!

Adrian and I stayed up most of the night

transforming the office/guest room into 

a toy room!

10 days...

in 10 days
we will be enjoying
this & this...
and, i canNOT wait.
(although i don't even want to talk or think about 
packing or the plane ride there with our 3 little guys!)




it will be nice to have some extra help
with these guys too!

we had a fun party for beck and his friends today
(more pics coming soon)...
but, i am all partied out!
i tried to keep it simple this year,
but i'm not so good at that.
oh well...

this cute boy was pretty sick yesterday...

we went to doctor and got him some medicine...

and, the first thing he said when i got him out of bed today was

"Beckley better!"

yeah!

we love our beckley boy!!!!
