Beckley's Blessing on May 2nd 2010
Beckley was blessed on May 2nd, 2010 in Palo Alto, California.
It was an absolutely perfect day.
Little Beckley (who was crying LOTS those days) didn't even cry during his sweet blessing.
We had all the guys put star stickers on their ties to make him happy, just in case...
but, amazingly he slept peacefully through the blessing.
Adrian gave Beckley the perfect and sweetest blessing.

We were lucky to have lots of family join us on that special day.
We had lots of friends there too,
but unfortunately we didn't get a picture with them all.
(Beckley was hungry during picture time... oh well...)

Pioneer Day 7.24.10
Although I have lived in Utah a few times in the past
I must have never been in town for Pioneer Day before this year
because I had no idea what a big deal it is...
We have been putting little Beck to bed around 8:30 the past few weeks
(trying to finally get him on some sort of schedule),
but we decided to let him stay up late tonight and enjoy the festivities.
We headed to Liberty Park in SLC (with Adrian's sister Estela & crew)...
which was quite an experience!
We had a fun time though...
(GREAT people watching!)
and Beckley loved it all!
(until the car ride home, anyway... he was NOT a happy boy! yikes!)
Beck has become VERY interested in food lately...
he was eyeing everything we ate/drank.
Peace man.

Brown Party
Before we left Palo Alto,
we had a little party to celebrate...
Adrian's Birthday,
Beckley's Blessing
& our departure to Utah!

Although we did have a few things to celebrate...
really, they were just the perfect excuse to
have one more party in the Peery's backyard,
order one last cake from Icing on the Cake
& see our PA friends one last time before we left!

new computer... time to catch up! Drew & Joy Graduate!!!
In order to solve our photo storage problem (which has prevented me from posting all the good pictures that Adrian takes with the fancy camera), we got a new computer. So, now it is blog catch up time...
Drew & Joy Graduate from BYU (in April)!
This was also Beckley's first time flying!
(since we were still living in Cali then)
(He has now flown a few times & has done great every time-
despite the look on his face in this picture!)

He was about 2 months old)
We decided to surprise Drew & Joy
by showing up for their graduation with Beckley.
Beckley slept through the graduation ceremony...
and so did Drew & Joy!

SOPHIE THE GIRAFFE.
Anyone who has met Beckley, has probably met Sophie the giraffe.
Sophie was a gift from his Grandma... and he loves it!
He carries Sophie around with him everywhere...
he loves to chew on her... fall asleep holding her... etc...
But, don't you just hate it when Sophie the giraffe
sticks her ear up your nose while you are sleeping?
Beck didn't seem to mind.

last trip to SF in May
(catching up on some old stuff here...
this is about 2 months late)
Before we left Nor Cal,
we took a break from packing and headed to SF
to go to the Academy of Sciences.
We also hit one of Adrian's favorite restaurants (Ideale)
one more time before we left the Bay Area.
It was a fun afternoon/evening.
Beckley loved the aquarium!
