American River -- Memorial Day weekend

The American River seemed like a perfect place to spend part of our Memorial Day weekend...

So, on Friday night we and a few of our friends (Tyson, Sarah, Jay, Erin & Maret) headed to our friend Erin's parents house in Placerville.  The next morning we woke up (went for an awesome run first) and headed to the river.  Erin was a rafting guide for years, so she was our amazing guide down the river.  It was super fun!  Adrian was worried about me being miserably cold-- & i don't blame him... i do NOT like cold water--but, i did okay :-)  Erin's parents also fed us a delicious breakfast before the river and had dinner waiting for us after the river-- thanks for the great hospitality!  Thanks Erin!

anything you can do, i can do cuter.

so, i was making a fruit salad for a birthday party tonight and 

adrian gave me a hard time & said that i only do/make things that are "cute".  

he might be right... but, 

cute/cuter is always better.  right?

at least that is what my mom taught me!

On Saturday night, we headed to SF for the KFOG KABOOM...

adrian's birthday celebrations!

Adrian and I went to a yummy Cuban restaurant by our house on this birthday night... we ate too much, but it was delicious!

Last weekend, to celebrate Adrian's birthday a bunch of our friends went for pizza at Applewoods and then to Sea Bowl in Pacifica.  We had a great time!  Happy Birthday Adrian!
