BYU Basketball Game

In Januaury,

we took Beck to a BYU Basketball

to watch my cousin, Brock Zylstra, play.

he loved it!

Beck's Monster 3rd Birthday Party!

3rd Birthday

i snuck into his room while he was sleeping

and hung a birthday banner

and scattered balloons all over his room.

birthday pancakes (with "sprinklers") for breakfast

he opened up a big monster truck present

first thing that morning...

and was super happy!

"it's what i wanted!"

the birthday boy eating a little cupcake appetizer before the party started.

"it's my party... i can do what i want to!"

in true birthday boy form...

this big boy was a bit of a monster at his party.

he told me later...

"mom at first i didn't yike my party,

but then it started and i yiked it.

it was fun."

yep, beckley boy, that's about how i'd describe it too.

we made monster masks

we opened presents

we shot of the coolest rocket!

(an awesome birthday present from dadda)

we had a monster pinata.

which beck later informed me was his "favorite part"

we played...

and we ate cake.

we've all been sick...

hoping to be healthier soon...

BECK IS 3!

my sweet big boy turned 3

on 2.16.13.

oh this boy..

he melts my heart...

he tries my patience...

he gives the best hugs & kisses (when he has some)...

he plays nice & sometimes too rough with his brothers...

he worries about me when i am sad...

he adores his dada...

he loves Curious George...

he cries almost every time i leave him but stops about 30 seconds after i am gone...

he sleeps with his blankie & doggie...
he makes me & lots of others laugh every day...

he loves to help me with whatever i am doing...

he goes peepee in the potty!  (still working on the #2 thing)...

he surprises me daily with his wit...

he often still calls for his momma at least once a night...

he loves ovaltine...

he makes me smile...

he blesses my life daily...

he is simply the BEST 3 year old 

in the "YOLE WIDE WORLD"

big day

this guy had a big day...

first it was his 3 year doctor appointment

(his birthday is on saturday!!!).

he was so funny.

when the nurse called his name 

he just got out of his seat in the waiting room

and walked right over to her and into the office.

as if me and the babes weren't even there.

he was making the entire office laugh & smile

throughout his appointment.

he is a charmer,

my beckley boy.

during his eye exam,

the nurse pointed to a picture

of a cup

and asked beck

"what is this?"

to which he enthusiastically replied

"a smoodie maker!"

needless to say,

he has 20/20 vision.

everything else was great

and luckily he didn't need any shots.

today was also 

the 3rd day in a row

that beck did NOT have any

accidents!!!!

(well, at least not peepee...

we are still working on the other...)

so, about a month after starting 

the potty training,

he finally got his

BIG PRIZE...

a Buzz Lightyear scooter.

he was quite pleased.

so proud of my big little boy today.

valentine's day at our house

here is what it has looked like so far...

and, i am actually

SO READY 

for Valentine's Day to come and go...

so that the stores will no longer

have candy hearts.

i canNOT stop eating them!!!!!!
