it's beginning to look a lot like christmas

Thanksgiving week

Adrian decided to take the entire

Thanksgiving week off...

So, we got to play with daddy all week!

the week started with A LOT of snow...

Beckley went to run errands with dad at Lowe's

that picture cracks me up!

We went to Gardner's Village with Grandma Brown

On Monday we got our Christmas tree!

(yes, before Thanksgiving! -

we leave for Hawaii on the 15th, 

so we figured we should get a tree early this year)

Beckley wanted to drive home

(9 months going on 16!)

We went shopping

Beckley shopped 'til he dropped.

Beckley tried to "cruise" to the Christmas tree

uh oh!  watch out!

We went to the Aquarium!

We didn't take many pictures

on Thanksgiving Day,

but here is Beckley trying some of the Thanksgiving food 

(he has been a bit sick the past couple weeks,

so the food didn't stay in him for long, poor kid)

 We went shopping

at Gateway

Beckley got a new hat!

and he tried a cookie...

Beckley and I were thankful to have daddy home

to play with us all week!

9 MONTHS!

9 MONTHS OLD!

Our cute little boy

was 9 months old last week!

He had his doctor appointment

on Tuesday.

look at that cute & not-so-little-anymore boy!

This guy weighed in at almost

19 LBS!!!

which put him the 17th percentile!

(he had always been around the 5th & was born at the 2nd percentile)

He is 27.4 inches long

which is the 18th percentile.

His head is still above average

at the 69th percentile!  :-)

He did get a flu shot :(

and has been sick for a couple weeks.

Poor little guy!

We hope he feels better soon...

and are so glad that this kid manages to

smile lots even when he is sick!

As for other Beckley updates...

*he is "cruising" everywhere he can!

(but still only kind of crawling -

he does roll all over the place too!)

*he is beginning to destroy our house already

(opening drawers, pulling things off shelves, etc...)

*he loves yogurt, oatmeal, cheerios & cheetos

*his favorite words lately are "da da" & "dah" (which we think is "dog")

*he talks, squels & laughs a lot!
*he is beginning to whine a bit too...
*he is a snuggler! :-)
*he likes to read books, take baths, play & laugh with dad & run errands with mom

*he sleeps about 12 hours every night (love that!)

*he takes 2 naps a day (usually)
*he LOVES his doggy & his blankie
(and sleeps with them both every night)

*he is still a SMILEY & HAPPY boy!

he even wakes up with a big smile on his face :-)

COLD

looks like it will be a white Thanksgiving!

luckily though, 

we are heading to my parent's house for Christmas...

so, it will be a WARM Christmas!

Beckley got to spend some quality time

with Penny (Molly & Jason's dog).

denver marathon

 Adrian completed the 

Denver Rock 'n Roll Marathon

on October 17th!

He did a GREAT job!

We were also able to play

with our friends Molly & Jason

for a few days!
