Beck is SO EXCITED to play soccer!
I bought him a bunch of soccer gear for his birthday in February
and he has been wearing it a lot over the last couple months.
He would always tell me
"sign me up mom!"
so, i did...
but then it took FOREVER
for the coach to call.
to satisfy this little soccer hungry boy,
we took him to get some "soccer shoes with bumps"
(totally not necessary at his age,
but totally worth it to see how excited he is about 'em!)
he even slept all night long with them on that night!
before going to bed one night,
Beck said to me
"i think my coach forgot to call one little boy"
i asked "who?"
and he said "me".
poor kid.
well, about 10 minutes after he went to bed that night,
his coach called.
as soon as he woke up the next morning,
i let him listen to the message.
before the message was even over,
Beck said:
"my coach is GURL!?!?"
ha! i love that boy.
here he is so "bescited" to go to his first practice
i LOVE his little "excited dance"
that he does each time after he kicks the ball.
GO BECK!
and, here is my handsome little guy
all ready for his first game!
Beck was in his own little world during the game...
and he LOVED it...
until, he "runned out of energy".
(he later told me that all his energy went into his soccer ball)
He kept pretending to fall down (& laughed every time)...
he stood with the wrong team...
he and his buddy (Nixon) ran the wrong way...
but, my Beckley boy had the time of his life!
the twins joined in on the fun too!
and were the cutest little cheering section!
i hope that Beck keeps up his excitement & love for playing soccer!
oh, and Beck's suggestion for the team name was
SOCCER MONSTERS
and all his teammates loved it!
