Happy 4th Anniversary to us!

Adrian & were married in the Oakland LDS Temple

for time & all eternity.

It has been 4 crazy & wonderful years!

i love you BIG honey!

extreme sports

baby, it's cold outside...

so, we are getting creative

or should i say extreme,

about how to spend our time inside...

we take bumper car-ing very seriously around here.

he says the snow boots make him go faster

and the helmet is necessary, trust me.

indoor sledding.

it's much cozier.

and, being cozy is a big deal around here.

i totally should have seen this one coming, right?

i let him try it once...

it didn't really work.

thank goodness.

this is what beck calls a "flip over".

it involves a big jump and a flip.

impressive if you ask me,

but i am his mom.

and, the babies join in on the action sometimes too....

bumper car fun.

we are having some extreme fun around here this winter!

i will catch you

today,

this sweet boy

(well, sweet, besides that biting stuff!?!?)

came up to me like this....

and said,

"momma,

if you ever fall down,

i will catch you

in this special net"

oh buddy,

you "catch me" every day!

i don't know what i would do without 

Beckley's smile, laugh, kisses & hugs each day.

his sweet spirit & fun personality keep me from

falling flat on my face

(so to speak...)

each & every day!

and, just in case you are need

of some "catching" today,

this ought to make you smile!

i sure do love my beckley boy.

my favorite twin moment, so far...

needless to say...

after about 30 minutes of this cuteness,

i put McKay in his own crib.

they are now almost (i hope!!) asleep.

this week

here is a little bit of what our week looked like...

some good & some bad...

some happy & some sad...

splish... splash...

one morning,

we had to put these two straight from their cribs

into the bath...

i'll spare you the details of why

(gross!)

but, as you can see they were pretty happy about it!

beck & crew really into some show on TV.

cute brothers.

i'm so glad...

when daddy comes home!

this morning,

Beck told me McKay was 

"buggin" him...

and, before i could get there to see what was up,

McKay's sweet older brother bit his face.

ouch.  poor little dude.

(beck instantly felt horrible...

you know, you don't have complete control of yourself

when you are 2.  he gave him plenty of kisses and "i yove you"s)

here is my cute little McKay at church today.

and now,

onto the next!

another week...

here we come!

election 2012

well, our guy didn't win

which in our view was a very sad day for America.

but, are still so proud to be Americans...

and we will pray for our president.

Mitt & Ann Romney are good good people.

we supported them....

 we voted...

we prayed for 

& celebrated them...

 we are so sad, disappointed & worried that they didn't win.

We will continue to pray for America & our president.

When Romney talked about

"the hope of the Earth",

he was talking about the American people.

And so, 

we will continue with our lives in a such a manner

 that we may be a part of that hope.

not our best

today...

it wasn't our best.

it wasn't my best.

the twins cried WAY too much.

beck didn't nap AGAIN.

and, well, I, just wasn't at my best.

this is what the twins do every time adrian leaves the house.

so cute.

but, today, 

i so wished i was the one leaving for the day.

by 11AM...

i had already had it.

"I felt impotent and out of control. 

Which I really, really hate. 

I had to find sanctuary in a place where I could gather my thoughts and regain my strength... "

so, i packed the kids up

(still in their PJ's)

and went to the mall.

a diet coke, some pretzel bites & mrs fields...

made the day better.

tomorrow, 

i'm hoping i can be more patient & kind & positive...

and, i think i need to watch Clueless.

("as if" i'll find time to...)

Halloween 2012

Halloween at our house...

(although i will admit i was more than ready

for it to be over before the actual day even came...

we did a lot of celebrating this year!)

i don't love dressing up...

but, i did it TWICE this year!
