fairy tale day.

yesterday i realized that in all the craziness of getting back from europe... i forgot that it was our engagement anniversary!  adrian proposed to me on 7.26.08.  (that story was my very first blog entry)

then today when i needed a break from work/life, i started looking at the pictures from that day about a year ago.  looking at those pictures and thinking of that day made me smiley and teary.  i can still remember how i felt when i saw adrian down on his knee with my ring -- such shock, excitement, happiness and love.  i loved that day.  it was a DCT.  a fairy tale day.

it is crazy and fun to think about all that has happened since that day about a year ago -- travels, memories, family, etc...  life (with its laughs and tears, smiles and frowns...) has settled in after that fairy tale day.  but, i know that no matter i will have that ring on my finger and my prince charming by my side forever... and we are living happily ever after!

back at home.

after 2+ weeks in Europe... then 4 nights in a hotel in Palo Alto (due to construction at our apartment)... we are finally home!  

we had a fabulous time in Europe!  and, have LOTS and LOTS of pictures...

We had a 3 hour layover in Amsterdam.  Although I was very nervous about it, we took the train into town and explored for about an hour... and we still made our next plane :-)

ROME!

EUROPE... GO JOY!!!

In just about a week, Adrian and I leave for EUROPE!!!!  We are so excited.

First, we are going to Biarritz, France to watch JOY compete in the Longboarding World Championship!  GOOD LUCK JOY!!!!  We are so excited to be there for the contest!

While in Biarritz we also plan to see some of Spain 

as we will be right on the border.

Then we (along with Drew & Joy) are off to Italy for a few days...

Lastly, we will spend a few days in Germany visiting Adrian's sister... so fun!
